If you’re the first person at your school to share this course with students, you might want to send a message to your IT department to prevent any technical difficulties. Here’s a template email you can use or adapt:
“I’m planning to use an online tool called Finding Focus with my students. I wanted to check in with you about a couple things before we start.
First, students will need to create accounts using their email addresses. Should we “whitelist” their email sender so that account creation emails aren’t blocked by our email server? Their emails come from "support@findingfocus.app" and "mail.findingfocus.app" is the DNS server.
Second, would we need to do anything in advance to ensure students could download their app on school tablets? Their app is called “Finding Focus."
Their team is happy to answer any questions about this, and they can be reached at support@findingfocus.app."
